Coming your way is Happy Lobster! We’re bringing some of the freshest lobster rolls + other delights to you on Wednesday, April 22nd, so don't miss out.
The delicious lobster-focused menu has the city’s favorite lobster roll, of course. Order it traditional or spicy! Add on some crab cakes, clam chowder, and dessert!
Make sure to order by 10am on Wednesday. Your order will be available for home delivery from 2:30-6:00pm.
If you won't be home, please be sure to leave a cooler out to keep your meal as fresh as possible.

The iconic and delicious Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder is headed to you on Friday, April 24th!
Chicago might have its deep dish pizza, but there’s another hometown creation that’s just as hearty and delicious, and quite possibly even cheesier: the Pizza Pot Pie. Created in 1972 at Chicago Pizza &amp; Oven Grinder, located just across the street from the location of the infamous St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, this ooey-gooey masterpiece just might deliver the most legendary cheese pull in all of Chi-town!
This ingenious creation starts with scratchmade triple-raised Sicilian bread dough. It’s filled with rich homemade tomato sauce that’s slow-simmered with olive oil, fresh garlic, onions, green peppers, and whole plum tomatoes. And finally, cheese – and lots of it! Baked upside-down and served right-side-up, it’s a pizza like no other — comforting, indulgent, and uniquely Chicago.

The nationally and locally acclaimed Pequod's Pizza is coming to you on Friday, April 24th--and this time, we're delivering to your home! Note that pizzas will be PAR BAKED with Pequod’s world-famous caramelized crust. We also have thin crust pies, garlic bread, and cheesy garlic bread on the menu this time around for delivery, so indulge! Pequod's was just named the "Best Pizza in the US" by Yelp!
Order by 12pm on Tuesday at the latest! But don't wait until the last minute to place your order, because there are only 50 spots available.

YWCA Evanston/North Shore

Bring the whole family to YWCA Evanston/North Shore for a fun, interactive Family Financial Wellness Fair! This FREE, welcoming event is designed to help families build financial confidence through hands-on activities, fun workshops, and access to helpful resources. Children and caregivers can learn about money together and find opportunities and resources to grow their money! This event is in partnership with Partnership Financial Credit Union and Open Communities.
Onsite activities are available for both children and adults, and the chance to speak with our financial wellness staff and access support and resources. All are welcome to attend!
Families can also explore <a href="https://www.ywca-ens.org/savings-for-success" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Savings for Success (S4S)</a>, our savings and rewards program! This program helps families start saving for their child’s education or training after high school. Families can also learn about <a href="https://www.brightstart.com/investment-options/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Illinois Bright Start</a>. See more below!
Activities for Kids (Kindergaten - 6th grade) include:
<ul><li>💬 On-site Savings for Success program info and enrollment support - and families who attend and enroll (or are already enrolled) get a $25 reward incentive!</li><li>✨ Interactive activities for kids, including a hands-on ATM machine, digital wallets, crafts and learning the how-and-why behind money management!</li><li>📚 Money storytime and books on financial wellness</li><li>📸 A fun Photo Booth</li><li>📃 Helpful financial wellness resources from YWCA and Illinois Bright Start 529</li><li>🎁 Prizes for participating in activity stations</li><li>🍎 Snacks and refreshments will be provided!</li></ul>

"I'm Already in Savings for Success!"
Families currently enrolled in Savings for Success (S4S) that attend this event are eligible for great incentives! Adults who attend and complete the Financial Basics workshop onsite will receive a $25 into their child’s S4S account. Children enrolled in S4S will also receive a $25 deposit for participating in the interactive learning stations during the event.
So if you bring the family and you both complete the necessary activities onsite, that's a $50 incentive for a fun, free, educational day with the family!

<a href="https://www.ywca-ens.org/savings-for-success" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Savings for Success</a> is a collaborative program of YWCA Evanston/North Shore and the Evanston Community Foundation, with support from Evanston Cradle to Career and Evanston/Skokie School District 65. The program provides families with a way to work together to save for their children’s futures—making post-high school education more accessible and achievable for all District 65 students in kindergarten and 6th grade. Designed to help close the racial wealth gap, Savings for Success offers families savings strategies, one-on-one support, and financial rewards...including up to $200 in the first year and $50 each year after. This program empowers families to build assets, start future-focused conversations with their children, and reinforce the message that their community believes in them and their potential.

The evening will be an entire family affair. Rashid’s son, Los Angeles-based actor/director Daniel Rashid, created films for the event; his wife, Bea, choreographed movement set on professional dancers; and his other son, Robert Rashid, will be playing drums in the show. This concert will be recorded live for Chicago Jazz Live on WDCB. Studio5 is a performing arts venue that opened in Evanston in 2016, bringing professional dance, music, and spoken word events to a 128-seat theater. Founded and curated by Dance Center Evanston director Béa Rashid and Emmy-award winning composer and jazz musician Steve Rashid, Studio5 provides North Shore arts-goers with a venue that is both state-of-the-art and intimate, connecting audiences and artists. PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago.
