CONCERT: Space presents Chicago Guitar Virtuoso Goran Ivanovic Celebrating New Album Release!

Goran Ivanovic is a classically-trained Chicago-based, solo guitarist and composer whose music blends classical technique with Balkan folk influences and cinematic soundscapes. Performances by this award-winning (Acoustic Guitar Magazine), genre-defying artist move fluidly between intimate acoustic storytelling and virtuosic guitar passages performed on both classical and acoustic guitars, creating a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Ivanovic's formative years were spent in war-torn Croatia. Inspired by the cross-cultural rhythms and melodies of flamenco, jazz, classical, rock and his own roots, he is one of the finest players of his generation. His concert on Sunday June 7th marks his return to the beautiful acoustics of Evanston SPACE, and will offer longtime Chicago and area fans and new audience members alike a captivating first glimpse at new material from his highly-anticipated solo record "Far Away Feeling", freshly-released in early March, 2026.
