Live at Studio5! Down Home Weekend
Celebrate Studio5’s tenth anniversary season with a weekend of folk, bluegrass, and Cajun music! Three action-packed days of musical fun with extraordinary entertainment - concerts, jam sessions, a fiddle workshop, contra dancing, and Cajun dance instruction, all under one roof. Each day will include special pre-show events.
Friday June 12 – The Songwriters
5:30-6:30: Pre-show salon performances by local singer/songwriters
7:00: THE JONAS FRIDDLE TRIO
8:00: SONS OF THE NEVER WRONG
Tickets: $46 for theater seating, $58 for cabaret seating
Saturday June 13 – Bluegrass
4:30-6:30: Pre-show Open Bluegrass Jam
Free to the public – all are welcome!
7:00: THE SULLIVAN SISTERS
8:00: DON STIERNBERG & THE BLUEGRASSTICS
Tickets: $46 for theater seating, $58 for cabaret seating. Free for the pre-show from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Sunday June 14 – Get on up
3:00-5:00: Contra Dance called by Jo Mortland with live music by Fred Campeau’s Old T Blue and the Shipmates
3:00-5:00: Old Time Jam room – free and open to the public
4:30-5:30: Cajun Fiddle Workshop with Brian O'Donnell
5:30-6:30: Cajun Dance Instruction with Louie Stallone
7:00: THE CAJUN STRANGERS - concert with open dance floor
Tickets: $15 for contra dancing. Concert, fiddle workshop and Cajun dance instruction $40 for theater seating, $50 for cabaret seating
