Val Nora 5K and Food Truck Festival

Join in the fun at The Val Nora 5K: Walk • Run • Roll and Food Truck Festival on Sunday, July 12, 2026 in Evanston. Held during Disability Pride Month, this event raises awareness and support for adults with physical disabilities.

Participants of all ages and abilities can choose a traditional 5K or shorter 2K option, followed by a Food Truck Festival featuring local vendors, music and family-friendly activities. Registration includes a race bib, commemorative T-shirt and a meal or treat from a participating food truck. Sponsored by Northwestern University and the women’s and men’s basketball teams will be there to participate and visit with families.
