The beloved Jeanie B! Trio will perform a free children’s concert on Saturday, September 19th at 10 am in the Community Center of First Congregational Church of Evanston at 1417 Hinman Avenue. 
Jeanie B’s interactive performances are always jam-packed with silliness, dancing, and sing-a-longs. And, with a vast catalogue of original music that Illinois Entertainer notes, features a surprising “mix of country, folk, blues rock, and a pinch of punk,” this is one children’s concert that promises to entertain kids and their parents. It’s no wonder that Time Out Chicago praises Jeanie B’s music as “one of the best things to happen to children in Chicago this decade!” 
This event is free and open to all. Kid-friendly snacks will be provided.

Portfolio Day is a chance for local students to connect with art college admissions teams, get information, and/or have art portfolios reviewed before applying to colleges and universities. Portfolio Review &amp; Informational Meetings are 10 minutes each and require registration in addition to the general event registration.
