Coming your way is Happy Lobster! We’re bringing some of the freshest lobster rolls + other delights to you on Wednesday, September 9th, so don't miss out.
The delicious lobster-focused menu has the city’s favorite lobster roll, of course. Order it traditional or spicy! Add on some crab cakes, clam chowder, and dessert!
Make sure to order by 10am on Wednesday. Your order will be available for home delivery from 2:30-6:00pm.

Artist Statement
Val Zee is an artist based in Evanston, Illinois and the founder of Smart Art Studios. Since 2004 she’s built a creative career that’s taken her from decorative painting to teaching art and developing her own studio practice. Her mixed media work explores women and the messages we absorb through advertising and popular culture. Val earned her B.A. in Studio Art from Northeastern Illinois University. For more than twenty years she has taught art in schools, senior communities and community art spaces. She has seen firsthand how making art builds confidence, connection and self-expression. She believes creativity is a powerful form of communication and that everyone has a story worth telling. Enjoy an evening at James Park on Friday, September 18, with a free Jamming Jean concert featuring Soul 2 The Bone! With a repertoire spanning more than seven genres, Soul 2 The Bone brings a vibrant mix of Motown, R&amp;B, Pop, Light Rock, Neo-Soul, Jazz, and more. Their lively performances are all about creating a fun, memorable experience for audiences. As the band says, “Great music comes from the Soul!”&nbsp;This concert will take place from 5:00 - 7:00 pm outside the Levy Senior Center. Gather your family and friends, bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy the music. Food from Tacos 606 will be available for purchase. Jamming Jean - Free Concert featuring Soul 2 The Bone Band

The beloved Jeanie B! Trio will perform a free children’s concert on Saturday, September 19th at 10 am in the Community Center of First Congregational Church of Evanston at 1417 Hinman Avenue. 
Jeanie B’s interactive performances are always jam-packed with silliness, dancing, and sing-a-longs. And, with a vast catalogue of original music that Illinois Entertainer notes, features a surprising “mix of country, folk, blues rock, and a pinch of punk,” this is one children’s concert that promises to entertain kids and their parents. It’s no wonder that Time Out Chicago praises Jeanie B’s music as “one of the best things to happen to children in Chicago this decade!” 
This event is free and open to all. Kid-friendly snacks will be provided.
