Canal Shores project: Neighborhood impact!

If you're not already aware, Canal Shores will be hold a Neighbors Welcome Meeting to discuss the future of the golf course at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21 at the American Legion Hall, 1030 Central St.

Please inform your neighbors about the proposal and the meeting. Call your alderwoman, too.

It looks like there are plans to divide the single golf course into four courses to attract much more activity, and it includes something called "Northwestern Headquarters" at the Asbury cul-de-sac along with hitting bays. A practice green is on the far west of this stretch.
