Car Wash Supports Fire Department's Youth Programs

Help raise funds for the Evanston Fire Department Youth Explorer Post Saturday at Fire Station 5.

EVANSTON, IL - From the Evanston Fire Department: Come get your car washed on Saturday, May 26, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at Fire Station 5, 2830 Central St., and help raise funds for the Evanston Fire Department's Explorer Post.

Funds will be used to help send explorers to a summer training opportunity at the University of Illinois Fire Service Institute and provide essential equipment such as boots, helmets, flashlights and other gear. The Explorer Program provides Evanston youth with EMS and fire suppression training in addition to ride along opportunities.
