Beginning on Wednesday, July 22, ComEd will begin to replace the main cable between three underground manholes, located between 1001-1022 University Pl. and near 1806 Maple Ave., as a part of system improvements to provide more reliable service to customers. ComEd crews will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Monday, July 27.
During construction, parking will be prohibited and modified traffic patterns will be established by the three access manholes while workers are onsite. Normal parking and traffic patterns will be permitted when crews are not present.
