Comix Revolution Participating in Free Comic Book Day May 2

Comic store on Davis Street to continue national tradition on first Saturday of May.

Evanston’s Comix Revolution will participate in Free Comic Book Day again this year.

Held annually on the first Saturday of May at participating stores, Free Comic Book Day has been popular since it began in 2002. Comix Revolution at 606 Davis Street has participated ever since and will again offer a comic book to anyone entering the store on May 2.

“It’s a great event to get new readers in the door and interested in the medium,” said Joe Chouinard, owner of Comix Revolution. “We often see families bringing little ones eager to start reading. We’re a proud supporter of the community.”
