Community Easter Egg Hunt at LYFE Kitchen: March 29 & April 4

Easter is the perfect occasion to bring your family and friends together to LYFE Kitchen Evanston (1603 Orrington Ave) for a day filled with good for you food, an inviting atmosphere, and of course, the kid-friendly Easter bunny. On Sunday, March 29 and Saturday, April 4 at 11:00am, celebrate Easter with your kids and join the Evanston community for an exciting Easter egg hunt on the plaza, just steps away from the restaurant.

After the kids find all the hidden eggs (we hope!), head inside LYFE Kitchen for a meet and greet and photo opp with the Easter Bunny (say cheese!). If your kids are still looking for some more excitement, set them up at the arts and crafts table to use their imagination and design a cute picture frame!

While the kids are getting in the Easter spirit, it’s time for the parents to unwind and enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal. The restaurant offers a diverse menu that truly has something for everyone. Start with a simple snack - Edamame Hummus Plate with fresh crunchy vegetables, smoky paprika, and LYFE crackers (gluten-free crackers available upon request).

As your main dish, try the Quinoa Crunch Bowl, which includes quinoa tabbouleh, fresh crunch vegetables, avocado, arugula, edamame hummus, chipotle vinaigrette, and fireman’s hot sauce or the Pizzanini with grilled vegetables, goat cheese, mozzarella, and basil in a stuffed pizza sandwich, served with pomodoro dunking sauce. Other menu items include flatbreads, burgers, pasta, and the popular Chocolate Budino.

After a fun-filled afternoon with the Easter Bunny, the kids are going to be hungry! LYFE Kitchen offers a children’s menu including Cheesy Flatbread, Unfried Chicken Strips, Crispy Gardein Tenders, Fish Tacos, Tofu Tacos, and Pasta with Tomato Sauce. All children’s entrees are served with a choice of baked sweet potato fries or fresh fruit.
