Community Quickly Replaces Library's Defaced Qurans
"Generous" community has already replaced the Islam books marked with racial slurs and swastikas.

EVANSTON, IL - All eight of the books about Islam that were defaced with swastikas and racial slurs at the Evanston Public Library have been replaced thanks to a swift reaction from the community.
"Many have offered to replace the defaced books in our collection and have already brought us new books," the library wrote in a statement on its website. "We are grateful for your generosity."
The library urges anyone else planning on replacing the defaced books to instead make contributions to the library.
