Community Corner

Consider Yourself Invited!

Immanuel Lutheran's community breakfast is this Sunday, May 3rd at 9 a.m.

There’s something warm and welcoming that happens the first Sunday of the month at Immanuel Lutheran Church at the corner of Lake and Sherman. It’s called Cafe Immanuel--a freshly-prepared gourmet breakfast that’s open to the community. Hungry people come, lonely people come, church members come. It’s a good time!

What’s on the menu? Always the choice of an egg entree or a waffle, plenty of hot oatmeal, orange juice, and tea or coffee. What’s not on the menu? Having to listen to a message before you can eat.

Cafe Immanuel is at 9:00 AM the first Sunday of each month. Donations are accepted but not required. Enter through the side door of the church, from the parking lot. Immanuel Lutheran Church at 616 Lake Street is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
