Cops Stop Burglar Who Tried to Steal Christmas
Evanston man arrested by Chicago police after officers spotted a man climbing through a window on Thursday.

A Christmas-gift thief was arrested early Thursday morning after police saw him climb through a window.
Alston Rodriguez, 18, of the 1700 block of West Dobson Street, Evanston, is charged with burglary, attempted burglary and obstructing a police officer, according to Chicago Police.
Officers spotted a man entering a window in the 2100 block of West Rosemont Avenue on the Far North Side at about 1 a.m. When they caught him, they found several stolen items, including wrapped Christmas presents, from multiple burglaries.
