PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago. PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. EVANSTON, IL - The CTA plans to perform track work at the Isabella Street Purple Line crossing in Evanston over the weekend. Crews will be out both Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to remove slow zones and make track improvements, according to a city of Evanston news release. During much of this time, there will only be a single track in operation at Isabella. The street has already been closed off to traffic due to the city's project to make improvements to the Isabella Street Bridge.

Founded in 1983 by Lori Lippitz, Maxwell Street Klezmer Band has played at Carnegie Hall, toured Europe, and provided the soundtrack for Chicagoland’s Jewish celebrations for over 4 decades. The band marked its 40th “Bandiversary” at The Old Town School of Folk Music in 2023. The group is releasing a new live album as well as an educational band book series in 2026.&nbsp;
