Daily Beach Pass Sales Discontinued

Daily beach admission passes will no longer be available for purchase as seasonal lifeguard and beach staff return to school.

As seasonal lifeguard and beach staff return to school, the City of Evanston has announced that daily beach admission passes will no longer be available for purchase effective Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Each year, the City of Evanston adjusts beach operations at the end of the season to ensure that all locations have adequate staff to maintain public safety, manage admissions, and support daily operations. This year, with approximately 45 percent of gate attendants and 30 percent of lifeguards returning to school on August 17, the City will discontinue the sale of daily admission passes to ensure that limited staff resources are available to manage beach operations.
