Dapper Desperado Armed With Gun Robs Evanston Bank
The FBI said a gunman in a tan fedora, trench coat and scarf struck a Bank of America shortly before noon Wednesday.

EVANSTON, IL — A smartly dressed gunman robbed an Evanston bank Thursday. According to the FBI, a robber entered the Bank of America at 1336 Chicago Ave. shortly before noon, gave a teller a note demanding money and brandished a handgun.
The man was described as 6 feet tall, between 30 and 50 years old and Black, according to the FBI. He wore a tan fedora, black winter jacket over a tan trenchcoat, a black-and-white scarf, white button-down dress shirt and khaki pants.
The robber also sported thick, black-rimmed glasses and a green surgical-style face mask. No further information was immediately available Wednesday.
