Davis Street Lanes to be Reduced This Week
Construction on Maple Avenue building could mean heavier traffic in the area.

EVANSTON, IL - Reduced lanes could result in traffic backups on Davis Street in Evanston later this week.
A crane will be assembled for the construction of a building at 1571 Maple Avenue from Wednesday, Sept. 7 through Friday, Sept. 9, according to a city of Evanston news release. During this time, reduced lanes are planned on Davis Street between Maple and Benson avenues.
"A traffic pattern will be set up and flaggers will be in the street to assist with traffic flow," according to the city. "The lane reduction traffic pattern will be set up each morning and removed as soon as the work is completed each day."
