Demystifying Chiropractic Adjustments

An Evanston chiropractic and energy medicine office is hosting an event to explain the how's and why's of chiropractic.

Chiropractic and Energy Medicine have become a more common source of healthcare. But many people still have questions about what happens during a chiropractic adjustment. Chiropractic First, a local Evanston chiropractic and energy medicine office is hosting an event on September 9th to help people better understand what happens during a light touch chiropractic adjustment and how it impacts people’s health, body and life.

The class walks participants through the stages of an adjustment. It lets people feel what the chiropractor is feeling for, explains how they decide what to adjust and lets participants feel the differences before and after the adjustment.

“Patients often say they are amazed by the results they get from light touch chiropractic care, but they are unable to explain to their family and friends how chiropractic works.” Explains Dr. Meggie Smith, the owner of Chiropractic First. “So last year we started offering our Demystifying Chiropractic Adjustments class to help patients understand what was happening. The class is really fun. People love it and learn a lot about healing and how chiropractic helps your body function better. Now we are opening the class up to the public so more people can learn about their healing options.”
