Discounted Lyft Rides In Downtown Evanston In February

EVANSTON, IL — Users of a ride-booking app can save 20 percent on a pair of trips to or from Evanston this month. Downtown Evanston, the local marketing association established to promote downtown businesses, announced it is partnering with Lyft to offer discounts on rides beginning or ending in Evanston.

To take advantage of the offer, you must be picked up or dropped off within an mile of 820 Davis St. between 4 and 11 p.m. during the month of February.

Before requesting your ride, enter the code EVANSTONRM18 in the app's promos section.

The offer is tied to North Shore Restaurant Month. Now in its 10th year, the event includes participation from more than 100 of the most popular area restaurants.

There are 29 Evanston restaurants involved offering deals this year, including free appetizers or desserts, a discount to the total bill, special prices for prix fixe meals, 2 for 1 specials and more. Some participating eateries include Boltwood, Edzo’s Burger Shop, The Stained Glass, Bangers & Lace, Trattoria Demi and more.
