Downtown Evanston Farmer’s Market Kicks Off Saturday
The market will comprise 51 vendors.
The Downtown Evanston Farmer’s Market is kicking off its 37th year Saturday.
Located at the intersection of University Place and Oak Avenue, behind the Hilton Garden Inn just east of the Metra tracks, the market will stay open from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will run every Saturday through November 3.
“This market has a festive atmosphere and is a real crowd-pleaser”, reads the City of Evanston website.

The famers’ market’s will comprise 51 vendors selling fruits, vegetables, meat, flowers, cheese, milk, eggs, crepes, sweets, olive oil and vinegar, baked goods, herbs, honey and maple syrup. A full list of vendors can be found on the city website.
Market goers can find free parking at the 1800 Maple Self Park, adjacent to the market and just north of the former Border’s space.
