Dr. Jesse Viner, CEO of Yellowbrick in Evanston, to Receive Award of Excellence From Illinois Psychiatric Society on Jan. 16

EVANSTON, Ill.— Dr. Jesse Viner, CEO and chief medical officer at Yellowbrick, a mental health facility in Evanston that works exclusively with young adults, has been selected to receive the 2015 Excellence in Patient Services Award from the Illinois Psychiatric Society. The award will be presented at the Illinois Psychiatric Society’s annual meeting on Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. at Petterino’s, 150 N. Dearborn in Chicago.

In addition to the Excellence in Patient Services Award, the Illinois Psychiatric Society is also presenting awards for Member of the Year, Resident/Fellow of the Year, Innovation in Patient Care, Volunteer of the Year, and Outstanding Achievement in Psychiatric Research.

Dr. Viner founded Yellowbrick in 2006 with a goal of creating an institute that is a national leader in psychiatric healthcare for young adults and their families. He is on the faculty of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis where he also served seven years on the Board of Trustees, an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. A graduate of Yale University, Chicago Medical School, Northwestern University Medical School Psychiatry Residency and The Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis, Dr. Viner has more than 30 years of experience in the field of psychiatry and is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
