Driving Blind

As most of you already know last week our local law enforcement were  out in force. They were enforcing the no texting or use of hand held devices while behind the wheel, a law that has been effect since the beginning of the year.(625 ILCS 5/12-610.2)6.While this may be commendable of our local law enforcement, one day won't curb the excessive and blatant disregard of the law. While you could compare this to putting on a blind fold and getting behind the wheel. I've experienced  this problem first hand being hit by a drive that was on the phone . I've also noticed the high numbeone or of drivers on the phone or texting in one of the moake st forbidden zones around our children's schools. What will it take to more aggressively enforce this law? . Will it take? one of our loved ones suffering a fatality or even worse one of our children.
