DUI Checkpoint On Howard Street Friday Night
Evanston police will check vehicles in the 1100 block of Howard Street Friday night into Saturday.

The Evanston Police Department will be conducting a roadside safety checkpoint this Friday night, May 22 into Saturday, May 23 this Memorial Day weekend as a part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” traffic enforcement campaign to reduce impaired driving.
The location of the roadside safety check point will be in the 1100 block of Howard Street.

Drivers operating a motor vehicle during this holiday weekend should have a designated driver if their plans include consuming alcoholic beverages. Be safe and don’t drink and drive.
