ETHS Frosh/Soph Play
ETHS presents "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" for children of all ages
Freshmen and sophomores at Evanston Township High School (ETHS) will present “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” on November 12 and 13 at 4pm and on November 14 at 7pm in the ETHS Little Theatre. Tickets for the 4pm shows are specially priced for students at $3; adult tickets are $7. Tickets for the evening performance are $5 for students, $7 for adults. All tickets may be purchased at the door, none in advance.
The play, adapted from Mark Twain’s classic novel, includes the famous episodes of the fence painting when Tom tricks all the boys in town to do his chores for him, and when Tom and his friend, Huckleberry Finn, attend their own funerals. ETHS sophomore Gwendolyn Turley as Tom and freshman Ian McCall playing Huckleberry Finn lead a cast of 17 freshmen and sophomores. Anne Lefkowitz directed the production, assisted by ETHS junior Marjie Erickson.
Located at 1600 Dodge Ave. in Evanston, ETHS is handicapped accessible. Parking is available in the front lot across from the Auditorium entrance or at the rear of the school.
