Lock Down Lifted at ETHS After Person Shot in Area
Shooting incident said not to involve high school. Lock down was a 'precautionary' measure.
UPDATE: An all clear has been posted on the lock down at Evanston Township High School, according to Evanston Now and other sources.
Posted at 6:54 p.m. Evanston Township High School is on lock down due to police activity in the area.
A man was shot today in the 1900 block of Emerson Street, in the area of the high school, according to ABC-7-Chicago. The school is said to not be involved in the shooting incident, and the school is only closed as of now as a precautionary measure.

According to Evanston Now, an adult male was the shooting victim. He is currently recovering at Evanston Hospital.
