“Arabian Nights” presented at ETHS
Evanston Township High School will stage “Arabian NIghts” on February 11, 12, and 13 in the school’s Upstairs Theatre. Curtain is at 7:30pm.
Each night, Scheherazade tells a different story to her cruel husband, Shahryar, to prevent him from killing her. After 1,001 nights, he is cured and Scheherazade can return to her family. Adapted from The Arabian Nights by noted director/playwright Mary Zimmerman, this series of tales unfolds with humor, passion, and beauty with the recurring theme of the power of storytelling to change lives. Tom Sollers directs a cast of 23 talented students, most of whom play a variety of roles.

General-admission tickets at $8 for adults, $6 for students, senior citizens, and Boosters Club members, are available online at www.ethstheatre.com, where you can print out your ticket, and at the ETHS box office before each performance.
Located at 1600 Dodge Ave., the ETHS Upstairs Theatre is handicapped accessible by elevator. Parking is best in the school’s back lot; enter off of Church or Lake Sts. For more information, call 847-424-7130.
