ETHS Students Protest Grand Jury Decisions
Students, teachers, staff participate in Tuesday morning sit-in

In one of the latest local protests regarding grand jury decisions not to indict police officers in connection with the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, students at Evanston Township High School demonstrated during a morning passing period Tuesday.
The Daily Northwestern reports students sat in the hallways for four and a half minutes to represent the four and a half hours Brown laid in a Ferguson, Missouri street after a police officer shot him in August.
A majority of the students, as well as teachers and staff, participated in Tuesday’s protest.
