ETHS Volleyball Opens Season with Win
A solid offensive effort lifted the Wildkits over Lane Tech on Wednesday.
The Evanston Township High School volleyball team saw wins at both the varsity and junior varsity level in its season opener against Lane Tech on Wednesday.
Stasie Litinsky had six kills and Ruby Smith had four kills and two aces for the varsity, which prevailed, 25-9, 25-21.
“We have much to work on but we are happy with the effort level and intensity the girls brought tonight,” said coach Pam MacPherson.

The junior varsity won their match, 25-13, 25-21. Freshman ‘A’ lost 25-15, 25-23 and Freshman ‘B’ fell 25-22, 25-15.
