ETHS Wildkits Football Seeks Postseason Return in 2015

Return of offensive starters could help Wildkits improve on 3-6 record in 2014.

The Evanston Township High School Wildkits football team will look to make it back to the IHSA playoffs in 2015 after suffering a down year in 2014, finishing 3-6 overall and 1-4 in the Central Suburban South conference.

The Wildkits bring back on offense QB Matt Little, RB Micquel Roseman and WR Tray Banks among others.

“The Wildkits suffered a down season last year, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2009. But they welcome back 11 starters, including Little, Banks and five offensive linemen,” according to an Evanston Review preview. “A varsity newcomer to keep an eye on is junior running back/defensive back Brad Garron, one of the fastest athletes in the state. Garron was a member of the Evanston 4x100- and 4x200-meter relay teams that finished first at the Class 3A boys track and field state meet in the spring.”
