It's fun! It's rhythmic! It's exciting! Bachata is danced all over the world and is a form that originated in the Dominican Republic but can be danced in a number of different styles, from traditional to modern or tango and ballroom. Bachata doesn't require many complex turns, but the movement of the hips is an important element to the soul of the dance and can be easily learned.
