Evanston string orchestra students present a mass concert

All Evanston middle- and high-school string orchestra students, approximately 250 strong, will be featured in a free concert beginning at 7pm on Tuesday, December 6, in the Evanston Township High School auditorium.

Following a busy day of clinics and rehearsals held at ETHS, the concert will highlight each of the middle schools’ string orchestras performing one selection, both ETHS orchestras performing one selection, and a mass orchestra finale of “An Irish Party in Third Class” by Gaelic Storm and “Buglers’ Holiday for Three Violins” by Leroy Anderson.

ETHS is located at 1600 Dodge Ave. in Evanston. The school’s auditorium is handicapped accessible. Parking is available in the lot across from the auditorium entrance on Dodge Ave.
