When: Thursday, Nov. 10 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Why: to celebrate and get to work on the 10 big ideas for Evanston's future  

How: Admission is free and no reservations are needed. Suggested dress code is celebratory attire on top and your favorite jeans or comfy duds on the bottom.   

Evanston150 invites YOU to celebrate and get to work on Evanston's future!

Details: The event, emceed by nationally-acclaimed storyteller Rives Collins, a theater professor at Northwestern University, features the anticipated unveiling and handing off to the community of the final 10 ideas chosen by the Evanston150 Selection Jury.  

The evening kicks off with musical entertainment and a free taste of some of Evanston's most popular restaurants including Andy's Frozen Custard, Dave's Italian Kitchen, Tiny Dog Cupcakes and Whole Foods.

All present at the celebration will be invited to gather around their favorite idea to begin the process of organizing and implementing it. The Steering Committee hopes to see all 10 ideas implemented or underway by 2013, the 150th anniversary of Evanston's incorporation.
