Christmas and Hanukkah music will fill the air when the North Shore Harmonizers, an independent women's a cappella chorus in the barbershop tradition, perform two upcoming holiday concerts, one in Evanston and one in Elmwood Park. On Sunday, December 4, the chorus will sing from 2-3pm at Three Crowns Park retirement home, 2323 McDaniel Ave. in Evanston, and on Thursday, December 15, they will perform for the Elmwood Park Woman’s Club around 1pm at Elmcrest Banquets, 7370 W. Grand, in Elmwood Park.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary year, the Harmonizers perform at their own public concerts, at special and holiday programs for senior citizens and other Chicago-area groups throughout the year, and at farmers' markets during the summer.
