International Organ Recording Artist Stephen Tharp in Concert at St. Luke's

Internationally-known organ recitalist and recording artist Stephen Tharp will play a concert at St. Luke's. 

The program will be Marcel Dupre's "Le Chemin de la Croix," 14 organ commentaries played in alternation with the dramatic reading of 14 poems by Paul Claudel, reflections on the stations of the Cross.

In notes accompanying the CD Stephen made at St. Luke's in 2002 (The Art of the Symphonic Organ), he says, "Skinner's opus 327 [at St. Luke's] in Evanston matches anything anywhere, period."
