Description:
Mukti is Hindi for Freedom/Deliverance, and this benefit concert and silent art auction serves as an opportunity to provide freedom in the world where there is social injustice. In India, girls as young as seven are being forced into prostitution. Help give her a better future. As Our Own is an organization: "Our aim is to rescue, protect, and empower children in India who are facing treacherous life situations, caring for them not as orphans, but as our own. To do so, we must address the systemic issues contributing to the neglect, abuse, exploitation, and enslavement of children by fostering change throughout India in the Church and the community.”
Ticket proceeds benefit the Growing Healthful Girls Project. About this project:
“Growing kids need balanced diets full of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and proteins. Such a diet doesn't come cheaply, so we need your gifts to ensure our girls have all the nutrients they need for three meals a day plus a few snacks.
This gift is foundational to everything else our girls need. With proper nutrition, they will be able to take full advantage of their educational opportunities and extracurricular activities.
Your gift provides good nutrition and meal planning so our daughters get what they need to grow up healthy and strong in body, mind, and soul.”
