Wine and Dine with Tom Mortimer of Le Cadeau Vineyard
Quince restaurant will welcome Oregon’s Le Cadeau Vineyard for an exclusively pinot noir wine dinner on Thursday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. The special event will be led by Tom Mortimer of Le Cadeau Vineyard and Executive Chef Andy Motto has designed four courses to pair with four of the cuvees (menu below).
The cuvees of Le Cadeau Oregon Pinot Noir that will be featured are: Cote Est (made from cooler East-side pinot noir fruit that is shaded from morning sun by our neighbor’s fir trees); Merci (a “heritage clones” that is ripe, rich, fragrant, deep, and creamy); Rocheux (from the rocky West-side of the vineyard and a 50/50 mix of separately fermented Pommard and Dijon 777 clones); and Equinoxe (made with fruit from the crest of the hill where the vines enjoy equal sun on both sides throughout the day).

Le Cadeau’s unique combination of clones, soils, and aspect from particular sections of the estate vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains provide the fruit for the wines, each individually made by a specifically chosen winemaker. The result is a diverse but unified collection of exceptional Oregon wines that showcase the diversity of the vineyard and the varietal nuances of pinot noir.
Reservations may be made by calling Quince directly. The fee is $90 per guest, tax and gratuity not included.
