
The Talking Farm, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which is starting a 2 ½ acre demonstration, educational production farm on Howard Street in Skokie, will be selling our organic and locally grown seedlings at the 63rd Annual Evanston Garden Fair on Saturday and Sunday, May 19th and 20th from 9 am – 4 pm. –Herbs such as oregano, dill, parsley and cilantro
–Greens such as bok choi, spinach and kale
–Many varieties of tomatoes, peppers, melons and eggplant
–Berry plants, such as raspberry, strawberry, elderberry and blackberry
–Perennials from local backyards
–And more…!
At 11am on Saturday, we will have a beekeeper with her demonstration hive available to answer your questions.
Come and learn more about our organization, gardening, and the benefits of local, organic food to personal health, the environment, and the community. All proceeds benefit The Talking Farm and its projects.
