RED CARPET ROLLS OUT ON OSCAR NIGHT

Pete Miller’s Seafood & Prime Steak Hosts First Annual Oscar Night Bash

Pete Miller’s Seafood & Prime Steak in Evanston and Wheeling is rolling out the red carpet for its first annual Oscar night bash Sunday, February 26 starting at 5:30PM.

The Oscars will be shown on the high definition televisions in each of Pete Miller’s Billiards Rooms where guests can enjoy booth seating, Oscar-themed cocktails and a special menu inspired by chef of Oscars, Wolfgang Puck. The regular Pete Miller’s a la carte menu will also be available.

As well, Pete Miller’s is holding an Oscar Pool with prizes of bottles of wine up to $100, gift certificates, frequent diner reward points and more. Oscar ballots are available on the Pete Miller’s website, www.petemillers.com. Guests may fill out their ballots and turn into Pete Miller’s any time before the first award is announced on Oscar night to enter.

A list of Oscar themed crafted cocktails such as Casablanca (Rum, Cointreau, fresh lime and cherry), Tequila Mockingbird (Tequila, lime, Chambord) will be featured.

The Wolfgang Puck inspired menu, created by Pete Miller’s Executive Chef Marcus Mooney, is as follows: 

Appetizers
Ceviche of Bay Scallops and Shrimp with citrus juices, fresh cilantro and tortilla triangles.

Korean Braised Beef Short Rib Sliders with Garlic/Soy Aioli and sour Napa Cabbage slaw

Duck Confit Pizza with goat cheese, dried cherries, wild mushrooms and truffle oil

Entrees
Pan roasted duck breast with Chinese plum BBQ sauce.

Cheese & Potato Ravioli with Brandy cream & wild mushrooms

Seabass Aqua Pazzo with clams, julienned vegetables and a brilliant saffron broth

Dessert
Orange & Anise Panna Cotta with caramel sauce
