Race to Nowhere and Community Dialogue

How do we define success? How do we achieve balance in our homes, schools, and communities? Raising Children in Evanston: A Conversation about the Demands of Modern Childhood will take place Oct. 10th at 7:00pm at ETHS. Parents and educators of children preschool to grade 12 are invited to a screening of the critically-acclaimed documentary Race to Nowhere followed by breakout discussions about the dangers of an achievement culture (including cheating, depression, anxiety, and a deficit of critical-thinking skills and creativity.) Together we'll decide what we can do about it here in our hometown.  See www.racetonowhere.com for more information.
