The Associate Board of NorthShore University HealthSystem Hosts Benefit Kick-off Party with Dot Dot Dot

Join The Associate Board of NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) on Thursday, July 28 when it kicks off its 7th annual Benefit, “Under the Harvest Moon,” with a sneak peek performance from Dot Dot Dot, the Benefit’s headliner. A mainstay of the Chicago music scene, Dot Dot Dot performs over 150 dates nationwide each year at night clubs, festivals, college parties, concert halls and private events. The band has selected The Associate Board of NorthShore as the beneficiary of its benefit concert, which they play annually for a nonprofit in line with the mission of their charitable foundation. Dot Dot Dot will not only play at the Associate Board Benefit on October 15 at Park West, but they will also give members and friends a sneak peek performance at the Benefit Kick-off Thursday July 28! Guests of the Benefit Kick-off will enjoy an intimate performance by Dot Dot Dot, drinks and appetizers, as well as chance to win free tickets to the Benefit!

Thanks to Dot Dot Dot’s generous contribution of their performance, The Associate Board will be able to commit more of the money raised at the Benefit to the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU) at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, which utilizes the latest technologies to provide neo-natal, intermediate and continuing care for infants requiring specialized nursing care.

Opening for Dot Dot Dot at the benefit kick-off is the up-and-coming Chicago band, Moon Furies. Comprised of Andy Kiel, Jim Wittmann, and Andrew Hertzberg, Moon Furies has a unique sound that has been taking the Chicago music scene by storm. Their performance at Schubas will mark the band’s 73rd consecutive show on their mission to play 100 Shows in 100 Days to raise awareness and funds for NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center.
