World Economy & Its Impact on the U.S.

The University Guild kicks off its 2012/2013 speaker program on Monday, October 1^st, at 1:30 pm in Northwestern University’s Scott Hall, 601 University Place, in the Guild Lounge (2^nd Floor).  All are invited to hear Dr. Michael Dreyer, Professor Political Theory, Northwestern University, on the topic of the World Economy & Its Impact on the U.S.  Dr. Dreyer is returning to the Guild because of his successful previous visit.  He is a popular speaker in Northwestern University’s Continuing Education
programs. 

The purpose of the University Guild is to bring to the membership of the Guild the intellectual resources of the University, to promote the interests of the University, to work for the collection and exhibition of the objects of art and to advance the development and appreciation of the fine arts in the University and in Evanston.  

Annual Guild membership is $50.  Membership is open to all in the community.  Guests are welcome and the cost is $2.00 per program. The Guild holds meetings October through April. 

The next University Guild Program is Peggy Macnamara, the Field Museum’s Artist-in-Residence, speaking on Nature Inspired Watercolors on Monday, October 15^th at 1:30 pm.  Watch for future program information!
