Evanston Alderman Won't Seek Re-election

EVANSTON, IL - The nine seats on the Evanston City Council will all be up for grabs in 2017, so Evanston Now asked current officeholders whether or not they plan on seeking another term.

Fifth Ward Ald. Delores Holmes said she is "definitely not" planning to run. Holmes has served on the City Council for three terms, and did offer the possibility of listening to her constituents on the matter before she makes a final decision.
