Evanston Bank Robbed by Unarmed Man
Chicago man was quickly taken into custody after robbery at Evanston Chase Bank location Saturday afternoon.

EVANSTON, IL — A 27-year-old Chicago man robbed the Chase Bank at 635 Chicago Avenue Saturday around 12:45 pm, according to police. An Evanston Police Department spokesperson says the man did not use a weapon and was quickly taken into custody.
Saturday afternoon, the bank was briefly closed with evidence technicians on scene before FBI agents arrived to investigate, police said.
By Saturday evening, the front door was boarded up with wood, but ATMs were fully functional for customers at the Southpoint Plaza location.
