Evanston Claims The Home Depot Owes City Thousands
City memo says home goods store hasn't paid for $15,000 worth of yard waste stickers.

EVANSTON, IL - The city of Evanston and its taxpayers are owed more than $15,000 by The Home Depot, where residents will no longer be able to purchase yard waste stickers.
The Home Depot has failed to pay $15,000 to the city for previous shipments of yard waste stickers, with most invoices now being more than a year overdue according to a memo the city sent on Monday.
The city claims it has "repeatedly attempted to collect these funds," and that their relationship with the home goods retailer is over.
