Evanston in Contention for Outside Magazine's Best Town Ever 2015
64-city bracket includes Evanston as a 7 seed, facing off against 10-seed Eau Claire in Round One.

March Madness may be another 10 months away, but the city of Evanston is feeling the bracket bug anyway.
The city was one of 64 selected for Outside Magazine’s fifth annual Best Town Ever contest. Cities from across the United States were selected, seeded and will now face off in a bracket style vote contest to determine the winner.
This year, Evanston was selected as the No. 7 seed in the Midwest bracket and will face a first-round matchup with 10th seeded Eau Claire, Wisc. Voting in this matchup is open from May 4-8. As of 10:30 a.m. on May 4, Evanston trails in the matchup with 138 votes (46.94%) to Eau Claire’s 156 votes (53.06%).

The winner will face the winner of No. 2 Milwaukee, Wisc. and No. 15 Rapid City, S.D. in a vote-off from May 9-13.

The Final Four will take place from May 29-June 4.
Previous winners include Duluth, MN in 2014, Park City, Utah in 2013, and Chattanooga, Tenn. in 2011.
