Evanston Equity Survey Seeks Public Feedback
A survey on the attitudes of Evanstonians about diversity and inclusiveness is open until July 4.

EVANSTON, IL — To assess the diversity and inclusion climate in Evanston, the city government announced Tuesday it is conducting an equity climate survey. The survey is part of efforts to ensure that Evanston is a welcoming and inclusive place. It is available online, by phone or in print, in both English and Spanish.
Results from the confidential survey will help the city's Housing, Homelessness & Human Relations Commission develop a three-year strategic plan and provide invaluable feedback to make Evanston a better place to live, organizers said. Among other questions, the survey asks Evanstonians how much they interact with people from other ethnic groups, how welcoming they feel the city is for specified groups and whether their personal identify affects their perceptions.
The survey takes under 15 minutes to complete will remain open until July 4.
