Evanston Giordano's Closes
Owner says "long story" behind sudden closure over Chicago Avenue eatery.
The Evanston Giordano’s location at Chicago Avenue and Davis Street closed over the weekend unexpectedly and will not reopen, the Daily Northwestern reports.
Owner Ted Mavrakis, who also owns the building the pizza joint was housed at 1527 Chicago Ave. told the Daily the reason for the closure is “a long story” and would not delve into the matter further, adding that he has “no idea” what will become of the building.
