Evanston Hiring Fire Chief, Planning & Zoning Administrator

EVANSTON, IL - The city of Evanston's most recent jobs posting includes openings with key positions in the city.

The city will take applicants for the role of Fire Chief until Oct. 24. The job pays between $119,000 and $173,000 a year.

A full-time planning and zoning administrator is also needed, with that gig's pay ranging from $79,000 to $115,000 a year.

Other full-time position openings include one for a recreation manager at the Robert Crown Ice Arena and Community Center (pay starts at $74,000 a year) and one for a facilities maintenance worker ($31-$38 an hour).

A part-time position for a preschool instructor is open, as are two seasonal part-time gigs for crossing guard and on-call crossing guards.
