Evanston Library Board Drops Term Limits

No limits for Library Board members, who had been constrained to two three-year terms.

The board voted 7-1 last week to rescind a bylaw that limited their service to two three-year terms, according to the Evanston Review. Those who voted in favor cited the extra benefit of having members with more experience and greater knowledge on the board.
